Terms of Use
Courtesy version. These Terms are written in French. This English text is an adaptation provided for your convenience. If the two differ, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the sellom.io service, a tool that gives an indicative measure of brand visibility in language models, published by Enumalon SAS.
Using the service means accepting these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
These Terms govern use of the service. Commercial conditions (prices, subscriptions, refunds) are in the Terms of Sale.
2. The service
Sellom queries artificial intelligence models through their official online services (the panel actually queried is shown in the report) to assess how visible a brand or domain is in their answers.
The service produces:
- counts of observed mentions and, only when the necessary data is measured, an overall score from 0 to 100;
- the questions, extracts of answers and other companies identified, in the data available under your plan;
- in paid dossiers, up to three evidence-backed corrections in total, or an abstention when evidence is missing.
Results are indicative. They may vary with updates to third-party models and the probabilistic nature of their answers. Repeated measurements let you observe variations; no statistical confidence interval is presented as calculated. Sellom is not responsible for score variations caused by changes in third-party models.
To write the questions of a measurement, Sellom reads the public pages of the domain entered with its crawler SellomBot (see the SellomBot page). SellomBot reads the site’s robots.txt file and states in the report what it blocks; it reads the pages needed for the measurement even if that file blocks them, on behalf of the user who requests it.
3. Access to the service
A free test is available without an account and details one question. After you voluntarily confirm your email, the account gives access to the five questions already tested, with no new collection and no paid PDF export. The paid plans (Business, Agency 5, Agency 10) and their prices are in the pricing page and the Terms of Sale. Earlier contracts keep their terms.
Access to the paid plans is reserved for businesses acting in the course of their activity, as the Terms of Sale provide. Enumalon SAS may suspend or close any account that breaches these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
The user agrees not to:
- use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- automate bulk requests without prior written permission (scraping, bots, scripts);
- try to get around measurement limits (rate limits, quotas);
- redistribute Sellom reports in raw form without substantial added value;
- use the service to make misleading claims about a brand’s reputation;
- try to access other users’ data or infrastructure systems.
5. Intellectual property
Reports generated by Sellom belong to the user who ordered them, provided these Terms are respected. Enumalon SAS keeps a non-exclusive licence to use results in anonymised, aggregated form to improve the service.
The Sellom service, its brand, logo, algorithms and interfaces belong to Enumalon SAS. Any unauthorised reproduction or representation is an infringement punishable under articles L. 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
6. Artificial intelligence: nature of the results
Sellom reports are produced with the help of artificial intelligence models. Each report says so and lists the models that answered. The answers quoted are those of those models and are not written by Enumalon SAS. Sellom takes no automated decision that produces legal effects on individuals. Sellom does not claim that the models queried “recommend” or “endorse” a brand. The service measures the frequency of citation of a brand in their answers, at a given date and under given conditions. Its statements are factual and descriptive.
7. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy. By using the service, you acknowledge it.
Service emails (sign-in, reports, payments, monitoring alerts) are part of the service. Emails with tips, news and offers are optional, sent only with your agreement, which you can withdraw at any time with no effect on access to the service.
8. Liability
Sellom provides the service “as is”. Results are given for information and are not professional advice (marketing, legal, financial). No visibility gain is guaranteed. A higher Sellom score does not necessarily mean a better place in real AI assistant answers.
The answers quoted in reports are produced by third-party models. Enumalon SAS does not write them and is not responsible for their content.
Enumalon SAS’s liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage, on the terms set out in the Terms of Sale.
9. Changes to the service and the Terms
Enumalon SAS may change, suspend or discontinue the service, with 30 days’ notice for paid users, except in a technical or security emergency.
These Terms may be changed. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of use, published on this page with its update date.
10. Availability and maintenance
Sellom works to keep the service available at all times. Occasional interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or force majeure. Paid users are told in advance of planned maintenance.
11. Language, governing law and disputes
These Terms are written in French. The English, Spanish and Portuguese versions are adaptations provided for your convenience; if they differ, the French version prevails.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute is first subject to an attempt at amicable resolution (contact@sellom.io). Failing that, the competent courts are those designated in article 14 of the Terms of Sale.
12. Reporting and removal of a public result card
A public result card (a page at “/r/…”) shows the domain and brand name of a measurement. The holder of a domain or brand that appears on one without having chosen it can ask for its removal: write to contact@sellom.io (the “Report this card” link on the page prepares the message), stating the card identifier and your connection to the domain.
Sellom removes the card within 72 hours of a complete request; the page then stops responding and its content is erased. We may ask for reasonable proof of that connection (an email address on the domain, for example). A copy already made by a third party is outside this removal. Removal does not delete the measurement from the account that published it.
